The Vice Chairman of Engro Corporation Limited, Shahzada Dawood, and his son Suleman are among those currently missing following the sudden disappearance of a submersible craft that was exploring the Titanic shipwreck in the Atlantic Ocean.

According to an official statement issued by Engro, Shahzada Dawood and his son embarked on their journey on Sunday, June 18th. Unfortunately, contact with their submersible craft was lost, and there is limited information available beyond this point. Engro has urged people to refrain from speculating or formulating theories about the incident. The statement mentioned that a collaborative rescue operation is underway, involving various government agencies and deep-sea exploration companies, in an effort to locate and bring back Shahzada Dawood, Suleman, and everyone on board.

Engro has requested prayers for the safe return of Shahzada Dawood and his son, and has appealed for privacy for their family during this distressing time. Further updates regarding the search and rescue mission will be provided by Engro accordingly.

In addition to Shahzada Dawood and Suleman, there were three other individuals, including the crew, on board the submersible. A billionaire based in Dubai was also among the passengers.

The tourist submarine was on a mission to explore the wreckage of the Titanic and vanished off the coast of southeastern Canada, as confirmed by OceanGate Expeditions, the company operating the submarine. According to the company's website, this was their fifth Titanic expedition of the year, which commenced last week and was scheduled to conclude on Thursday.

The entire deep-sea mission costs $250,000 per person and begins in St. John's, Newfoundland, before venturing 640 kilometers into the Atlantic Ocean towards the location of the wreckage.
