PTCL Investigating Microfinance Investment Opportunities

Islamabad, July 21,2023: Friday saw an announcement from the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) that it would be looking into prospective investment opportunities in the microfinance industry.

"The Board of Directors of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (the "PTCL/Company") has authorised the Company to explore potential investment opportunity in the Microfinance sector in Pakistan," the company stated in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The note also stated that PSX would be informed of any developments in accordance with applicable laws.
