OpenAI's ChatGPT has achieved a remarkable milestone, with 100 million weekly active users, as announced by CEO Sam Altman during the company's inaugural developer conference in San Francisco. Altman also revealed that the platform is embraced by over two million developers, with more than 92% of Fortune 500 companies incorporating it into their operations.

In addition to these milestones, OpenAI introduced a series of groundbreaking announcements. One of the highlights is the unveiling of GPT-4 Turbo, a "more powerful" and cost-effective iteration of its flagship text-generating AI model, GPT-4.

Moreover, OpenAI introduced the concept of GPTs, empowering individuals to create their own versions of the conversational AI system. In the near future, users will have the opportunity to publish their customized AI models on a marketplace known as the "GPT Store," potentially earning revenue from their creations.

OpenAI's DALL-E 3, a text-to-image model, is now accessible through an API, having initially been integrated into ChatGPT and Bing Chat. Notably, OpenAI is launching the Assistants API, a tool enabling developers to create "agent-like experiences" within their applications. With this API, developers can construct virtual "assistants" that harness external knowledge and utilize OpenAI's generative AI models and tools to execute various tasks.

Furthermore, OpenAI is introducing a text-to-speech API, offering users a selection of six preset voices and two generative AI model variants.
