NADRA acts to facilitate crucial documentation for children with simplified ID and B-Form procedures

In an effort to streamline the process of obtaining Form B and identity cards for children under 18, the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a comprehensive set of guidelines. This initiative aims to simplify the application process for parents or guardians seeking essential documents for their children.

Application Procedure

Visit a NADRA Center: Bring the computerized birth certificate of the child, along with either one parent or a court-appointed guardian.

Parental Presence: If both parents are present, one will be the applicant, and the other will act as a verifier.

Single Parent Application: If only one parent is available, the application form must be verified by a Gazetted Officer or a public representative (such as MNAs, MPAs, or officials from municipal bodies).

Mandatory Child Presence: The child must be present for the identity card process.

Biometric Data: Capture the child’s photograph and fingerprints, especially for children aged 10 and above.

Flexible Documentation

In cases where the computerized birth certificate facility is unavailable at the Union Council, alternative documents such as a school certificate or a manual certificate from the Union Council will be accepted.
