Metro Bus service ‘suspended’ in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Metro Bus Service was suspended in Islamabad due to the Save Gaza March protest at Islamabad’s D-Chowk on Monday.

The services were closed at the request of Islamabad DC as a precautionary measure due to the scheduled Save Gaza March in the evening.

According to the details, the bus service has been operating from Rawalpindi’s Sadar to Faiz Ahmed Faiz station. Meanwhile, the service has been stopped from Faiz Ahmed Faiz station to the Secretariat Station.

Commuters of the metro service are suffering due to the closure.

The 83.6 km Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metrobus is a rapid transit system operating in the Islamabad–Rawalpindi metropolitan area which consists of four routes, namely the Red, Orange, Blue, and Green Lines.
