Gold Prices Unchanged in Pakistan Despite International Fluctuations

In a notable development, gold rates in Pakistan exhibited resilience on Thursday, maintaining their stability even in the face of a slight uptick in the international market. While the global rate experienced a modest $2 per ounce increase, the yellow metal remained unaltered at Rs221,000 per tola within the country.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold retained its value at Rs189,472, mirroring the figures of the previous closing day. This follows a noteworthy surge in gold prices in Pakistan by Rs2,600 per tola on Wednesday.
Adding further nuance to the situation, the international gold rate, holding a $20 premium, settled at $2,064 per ounce on Thursday. APGJSA reported this figure after noting a $2 increase in the global market.
