In a recent development, Air Link Communication Limited (AIRLINK), a prominent mobile phone manufacturer and distributor in Pakistan, has disclosed its partnership with Xiaomi to manufacture smart TVs at its Lahore-based production facility.

This significant announcement was communicated by Air Link through an official notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The notice stated, "We are thrilled to announce that Xiaomi, a leading global player in consumer electronics and smartphone manufacturing, has chosen to collaborate with Air Link for the production of Xiaomi Smart TVs."

Jiang, the Global Head of AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) at Xiaomi, has expressed his full confidence and support for Air Link in this venture. He also commended Air Link for its impressive track record in its ongoing collaborations with Xiaomi.

Air Link emphasized Xiaomi's standing as a premier worldwide manufacturer of consumer electronics and smartphones. The notice mentioned that Xiaomi secured the top spot as the No.1 TV brand in Mainland China for the first half of 2023 and holds the No.5 position globally. Additionally, Xiaomi is the world's third-largest brand in the smartphone industry. Xiaomi's products are distributed in over 100 countries and regions, and it has made its mark in the Fortune Global 500 list for the fifth consecutive year.

Xiaomi and Air Link have already formed a strategic partnership for local production of Xiaomi smartphones.
