SBP reserves rise $12.5m to $8.06bn
The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rose by $12.5 million or 0.16% WoW to $8.06 billion during the week ended on February 09, 2024, according to the data released by the central bank on Thursday.
Similarly, the country's total reserves rose by $51.5m or 0.39% WoW to $13.15bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $39m or 0.77% WoW to $5.09bn.
In the current fiscal year, total liquid foreign reserves have increased by $3.99bn or 43.55%.
Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen a decrease of $0.07bn or 0.54%.
