SBP is Ending the Airtime Reward Program for USD Remittances
The incentive of airtime equivalent to Rs2 per USD permitted by the Pakistani government would expire after thirty days.

According to the most recent circular from the State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) Banking Policy & Regulations department, the incentive of airtime equivalent to Rs2 per USD permitted by the Pakistani government would expire after thirty days.
It should be noted that this incentive was last changed in 2018 in order to help banks advertise home remittances via BB Channel.
It is noteworthy that claims pertaining to the M-Wallet Scheme that were submitted on or before January 31, 2023, under the previously indicated incentive, would remain eligible for payment in accordance with current protocol.
But beyond this date, no claims will be considered.
Furthermore, there will be no changes to any additional instructions on the matter.
