PKR’s Strengthening Trend against USD Continues

Following the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Pakistani rupee continued to rise against the US dollar in the interbank market on Thursday.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local currency gained Rs0.37 against the US dollar in the interbank market, closing at Rs277.04.

The US dollar was trading at Rs285.99 on the open market. On Monday, the Pakistani rupee gained Rs10.58.

Meanwhile, Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) President Malik Bostan predicted that the dollar’s value will fall further in the coming days.
