Petrol Prices in Pakistan Expected to Drop Before Eid-ul-Azha
Islamabad: In an effort to provide relief to the public ahead of Eid ul Azha, the Pakistan government is likely to reduce petrol and diesel prices by up to Rs 12. This move is expected to ease the financial burden on citizens during the festive period.

The anticipated reduction in fuel prices is attributed to a significant decrease in the global market. Recently, the global price of petrol has fallen by $5.14, bringing it down to $89 per barrel. As a result, prices in Pakistan are projected to drop by as much as 12 rupees.

This decrease in fuel prices is particularly timely, as it will not only benefit individual consumers but also positively impact the overall economy by reducing transportation and production costs. The government's decision aims to ensure that people can enjoy the festive season with a bit more financial comfort.
