According to Google’s Country Director Farhan Qureshi, Pakistan created a roaring commerce of Rs1,000 billion through various transactions in a year.
In an exclusive interview, a Google official stated that customers benefitted by Rs210 billion in a year.
According to Qureshi, Google creates 410,000 job possibilities per year, and there are 350 content creators in Pakistan with a million followers.
He further stated that half of the viewers are from outside Pakistan. He also stated that 1,600 game studios had been created in the last five years.
Qureshi further stated that there are 5,400 YouTube channels with 100,000 subscribers.
Pakistani content makers are well-known around the world for their innovation and ability to set new trends. There are around 350 content creators with over 10 million subscribers and more than 50% foreign viewing. We’ve seen some incredible and imaginative content transcend boundaries, he added.
According to Farhan Qureshi, YouTube, and gaming have now captured the interest of content providers. More than 1600 gaming studios have been built, resulting in a 100% increase in game studio development. YouTube has also become a very busy environment, with millions of subscribers to over 5000 YouTube channels.
