Pakistan set to introduce Digital Prize Bonds with Rs4million prize money

The Pakistani government has decided to distribute Rs. 1,000 worth of prize bonds as part of the Digital Prize Bonds scheme.

Rs. 1,000 prize bonds will be available in the first phase, and Rs. 500, 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 prize bonds will be available in the second phase.

The prize pool for the scriptless Rs. 1,000,000 digital bonds is Rs. 4,000,000.

The "Digital Prize Bond Gateway," an online platform that can be accessed through a dedicated application, will be used by buyers to obtain the digital prize bonds that National Savings will issue in a different bond in order to eliminate paper from the process.

The Finance Division will decide whether to hold quarterly draws for Digital Prize Bonds or not.

The draw schedule will be announced by National Savings at the start of each calendar year, with the results published in the official Gazette.
