Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to finalize the agreement and complete the “Road to Makkah” project.

The agreement was struck during a meeting in Islamabad between Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan.

In this context, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Interior Minister will visit Pakistan to clinch an agreement for a scheme aimed at providing pilgrims with quick and convenient immigration.

The project will begin at Islamabad Airport and will serve 40,000 pilgrims this year. The meeting also evaluated the status of the project agreement. The two leaders also talked about bilateral relations and common interests.
