Pakistan Invites Saudi Arabia to Build Two Five-Star Hotels in Islamabad

The Pakistani government has proposed to Saudi Arabia the construction of two five-star hotels in Islamabad, either through joint ventures or independently.

This offer coincides with the visit of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to Pakistan, where discussions are focused on bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

According to reports, Pakistan has extended an invitation to Saudi Arabia to invest in the construction of two luxury hotels in Islamabad. One proposal involves the Capital Development Authority providing land, with Saudi Arabia handling construction matters. Alternatively, Saudi Arabia can choose to acquire land independently.

During the meeting with the Saudi foreign minister, discussions also touched on matters concerning PIA, airports, investment in First Woman Bank, and the Mitairi Transmission Line.

Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan's keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia, particularly in trade and investment sectors.
