KARACHI: In an effort to enhance the registration process for potential beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in remote regions of Pakistan, the Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers are expected to become operational by November. These Mobile Registration Centers are a crucial step towards making registration services easily accessible to deserving women residing in far-flung areas, ensuring that they benefit from the program. Amer Ali Ahmad, the Secretary of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), revealed that the induction of Mobile Vans, initiated in August, is now in its final stages. The addition of 25 Mobile Vans will transform them into Mobile Registration Centers for the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER), providing registration facilities to those who previously had limited access. This initiative is set to establish 19 Mobile Registration Centers in remote Balochistan, five in Sindh, and one in Islamabad in its initial phase.
