Gold price decreases by Rs4,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices continued to fall on Tuesday, in accordance with the global market’s downward trend.

According to figures from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold fell by Rs4,000 to Rs221,500, while the price of a gramme of 24-carat gold fell by Rs3,430 to Rs189,900.

The price of the precious metal fell by $2 on the international market to settle at $1,961 per ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has stayed constant at Rs2,600 per tola and Rs2,229.08 per gramme.
