With the commencement of operations at the new facility, FCCL's total cement production capacity has surged to an impressive 10.6 million tons per annum, solidifying its position as the third-largest cement producer in the country.

Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL), a leading cement manufacturer in Pakistan, proudly announces the successful commissioning of its cutting-edge Greenfield Cement Manufacturing Plant in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. The company, renowned for its diverse range of cement products, officially disclosed this development in a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday.

In the notice, FCCL stated,

"We are delighted to share that FCCL has effectively commissioned its Greenfield Cement Manufacturing Plant on November 30, 2023, boasting a production capacity of 6,500 tons per day of clinker at Shadan Lund, district Dera Ghazi Khan."

Highlighting the remarkable speed of completion, FCCL mentioned, "The Greenfield Project has been accomplished in a record time of 13 months."

This state-of-the-art project incorporates advanced manufacturing equipment, along with emissions control features and a Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant. FCCL emphasized the significance of the Greenfield Cement Plant in Shadan Lund, Southern Punjab, not only providing livelihood opportunities for the locals but also contributing to the area's substantial development.

In addition to the plant's commissioning, FCCL underscored its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Even before the plant's inauguration, the company initiated significant CSR projects, such as providing clean drinking water, healthcare facilities, and solar systems to the local community.

Established under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, in 1992, FCCL commenced operations in 1993, catering to both the local and global markets. Its export destinations include Sri Lanka, South Africa, the Middle East, among others.
