Dewan Motors Forges Partnership to Produce Electric Vehicles in Pakistan

DFML has revealed a significant collaboration with EGML to produce EGML’s Honri-VE electric vehicles, boasting impressive ranges of 200 km and 300 km.

This partnership positions DFML as a prominent player in the electric vehicle (EV) market of Pakistan.

DFML aims to kickstart production of the 300 km range electric vehicles in the next two to three months to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly transportation.

As global preferences lean towards modern electric vehicles, DFML's move represents a strategic effort to provide sustainable options amid escalating petrol prices in Pakistan.

DFML announced today via the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that production is set to commence in August 2024.

In a related update, DFML has resumed commercial production of the "Special Purpose KIA Commercial Vehicle," marketed under the name KIA 'SHEHZORE,' with the rollout and launch ceremony scheduled for June 4, 2024.
