FRANKFURT: Volkswagen, the German automotive behemoth, announced on Wednesday a significant profit increase for the year 2023. The company saw its sales surge robustly across Europe and North America.
The net profit ascended by 13.1 percent, reaching 17.9 billion euros ($19.6 billion), compared to the prior year. Meanwhile, sales experienced an upward trajectory, climbing over 15 percent to total 322.3 billion euros.
