UAE opens Asia’s largest visa center in Karachi

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has established Asia’s largest visa centre in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest megacity and commercial powerhouse.

The visa centre, which will be one of the largest in Asia, will offer exceptional consular services in accordance with the most recent international standards.

At the visa centre, 11 counters have been set up.

Over 1.6 million Pakistani expatriates live in the UAE and work in various public and private sectors, remitting over $4 billion to Pakistan each year.

Pakistan and the UAE have created “strong foundations of bilateral relations, friendship, and cooperation over the years” with the opening of a modernised visa centre in Karachi.
