The index fluctuated by 269.32 points, hitting a top of 45,283.3 and a low of 45,013.98 during the trading day.

The KSE100 Index had 148.647 million shares in its total volume.

Out of the 100 index companies, 32 closed higher, 59 lower, 4 remained unchanged, and 5 were not traded.

Technology & Communication, with 39.58 points, Fertiliser, with 30.76, Cement, with 24.22, Automobile Assembler, with 12.82, and Power Generation & Distribution, with 11.68 points, all underperformed the KSE100 Index.

SYS, ENGRO, CHCC, HUBC, and MEBL were the companies that pulled the index down, each contributing 49.28, 26.51, 13.48, and 11.8 points.

Chemical, with 68.45, Commercial Banks, with 31.14, Investment Banks, Investment Companies, and Securities Companies, with 20.67, Oil & Gas Marketing Companies, with 7.63, and Paper & Board, with 2.09 points, all provided assistance for the KSE100 index.

COLG, UBL, BOP, PSX, and TRG were the companies that contributed points to the index, totaling 73.44, 26.79, 22.91, 13.49, and 9.21 points, respectively.

The All-Share index for the larger market ended the day at 30,434.06 with a net gain of 104.92 points.

The total market volume decreased by Rs.0.01 billion to 314.785 million shares from 267.514 in the previous session's traded value, which was 6.77 billion.

There were 112,810 trades registered across 339 different firms, with 137 of them ending in gains, 169 in losses, and 33 in no change.
