SECP Greenlights Universal Network Systems' Rebranding to Blue-Ex Limited

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has granted formal approval for the corporate rebranding of Universal Network Systems Limited (PSX: GEMUNSL) to 'Blue-Ex Limited,' according to the company's disclosure on the local bourse released today.

This move comes after the company's Board of Directors (BoD) deliberated on the proposal for the name change during its meeting on April 28, 2023.

The transformative decision received unanimous consent from the shareholders, who endorsed the proposed name alteration in an Extraordinary General Meeting convened on July 10, 2023.

Established on December 12, 2005, as a private limited company in Pakistan, UNSL has been primarily engaged in the business of cargo forwarding and offering both domestic and international courier services, along with related services.
