PIA expedites preparations for Europe, UK flights

 Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has accelerated preparations for direct flights to the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe.

According to sources within the national airline, PIA management indicated confidence in passing the audit, which would be undertaken by the British Department of Transport (DfT) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

According to sources, the EASA audit team will visit Pakistan in November, followed by the DfT team in October.

Despite facing a serious financial crisis, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made worker appointments in the United Kingdom (UK) earlier this month.

The national flag carrier is facing a three-year ban on direct flights to the United Kingdom (UK). Despite the financial crisis and the embargo, the national airline hired high-ranking leaders and employees.

The PIA country manager will be paid £70,000 per year, while the passenger sales manager will be paid £55,000 and the finance manager will be paid £55,000 per year.

In addition, a manager was appointed at the Manchester station, with an annual salary of £55,000 plus other benefits.
