OGRA announces Rs6.45 per kg cut in LPG price

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday announced a reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.
The regulatory authority announced that LPG prices will decrease by Rs6.45 per kilogram and that the LPG would now be offered for Rs 250.33 per kilogram.
The cost is now lower for people who use household cylinders. A domestic cylinder now costs just Rs76 less than before.
The domestic cylinder now costs Rs 2,954 instead of the previous amount.
It is important to remember that the value of the household LPG cylinder in March was Rs3030.12.
In a related move, the government decided on Sunday to raise the price of petrol price by Rs9.66 for the next 15 days.
In a notification, the ministry of finance said that the government of Pakistan decided to raise consumer prices effective April 1, 2024, based on the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority’s (OGRA) recommendation and as part of the fortnightly modification of petroleum product prices.
