Karachi: Fishermen Catch Billion-Rupee Fish in Nets

The goddess of fortune continues to be kind to the Keti Bandar fishermen near Karachi.

A very valuable and rare 'Shawa' fish, worth billions of rupees, was caught in the nets of the fishermen near Keti Bandar.

According to Coastal Media Center spokesperson Kamal Shah, a big catch of 'Sawa' fish has been made in the net.

He has mentioned that 3 boats have caught 700 grains of fish.

On the other hand, Moazzam Khan, technical advisor of WWF, states that the fish gather in March and April to lay eggs.

They also state that there is a risk of the fish becoming extinct without being hunted in large numbers.
