Govt to launch massive recruitment drive to fill vacant positions

The Establishment Division has given the green light for a substantial recruitment effort across federal ministries and subordinate institutions.

This initiative aims to fill a total of 1,102 vacant positions ranging from grades 1 to 17.

Under the auspices of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), 12 vacancies for Medical Officers (Grade 17) have been authorized for recruitment in the District Health Office, Islamabad.

Furthermore, the National Library is set to welcome two new hires for Grade 16 and 17 positions, while the Information Service Academy will onboard five individuals for Grade 1 to 13 roles. The Defense Division is also slated to fill 206 positions spanning from Grade 4 to 15.

Expanding the scope of opportunities, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis plans to recruit 66 individuals for Grade 1 to 15 roles, with an additional 429 positions in various grades, including 85 regular positions, earmarked for PIMS Hospital.

The Ministry of Defense (GHQ) is seeking to fill vacancies for an Information Officer (Grade 17) and a Computer Operator (Grade 16), while the Federal Government Polyclinic Hospital is set to fill 77 positions ranging from Grade 1 to 15.

Moreover, the Establishment Division has allocated 85 vacancies for Grade 4 to 15 in the Ministry of External Affairs, six positions for Grade 16 in the Staff Welfare Organization, and 13 positions for Grade 1 to 14 in the Pakistan Public Administration Research. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is also poised to welcome 199 new recruits for Grade 1 to 15 positions.
