In line with the international market trend, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a noteworthy decrease on Friday. The precious metal, which had held steady at Rs221,000 per tola on Thursday, saw a reduction of Rs500, bringing it to Rs220,500 per tola by the end of the day.

According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold price also reflected this downward trend, settling at Rs189,043 after a decrease of Rs429.

The international gold rate, with a premium of $20, stood at $2,060 per ounce on Friday, marking a $4 decline in the global market, as reported by APGJSA.

On a different note, silver rates remained stable at Rs2,550 per tola, maintaining their position amidst the fluctuations in the gold market.
