Gold Prices in Pakistan Show Resilience with a Rs300 Recovery

In a notable rebound, the domestic bullion market in Pakistan demonstrated resilience on Tuesday, witnessing a noteworthy uptick in the price of 24-karat gold. The per tola rate surged by Rs300, reaching a new high at Rs216,400.

According to the latest update from the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also experienced an upward shift, settling at Rs185,528 and marking an increase of Rs257. Simultaneously, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold stood at Rs170,067.

Contrastingly, the price of silver remained stable, with 24-karat silver maintaining its position at Rs2,660 per tola and Rs2,280.52 per 10 grams.

On the global scale, the international spot gold market reflected a positive trend with a 0.24% rise, currently trading at 2,032.48. This follows a slight setback of 0.86% observed in the previous session, primarily attributed to a robust US jobs report that tempered expectations for an imminent interest rate cut.
