Gold Price Per Tola Declines Rs1,800 in Pakistan

Gold rates in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Wednesday, aligning with the downward trend in the international market. The precious metal's per tola rate settled at Rs228,300, reflecting a reduction of Rs1,800 from the previous day's rate.

The 10-gram gold price also saw a decrease, coming in at Rs195,730, which is Rs1,544 less than the rate on Tuesday. These figures were provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), which keeps a close eye on these daily fluctuations.

Tuesday's market had already shown a slight dip in gold prices by Rs100 per tola. This continued decrease is indicative of the volatility present in the gold market, both locally and internationally.

Internationally, gold was traded at $2,179 per ounce on Wednesday. This rate includes a premium of $20 and comes after the metal saw a decline of $18 in the international market, as reported by APGJSA.

In contrast to gold, silver prices remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs2,600 per tola. This stability in silver rates provides a stark comparison to the often more turbulent gold prices.
