Gold Price in Pakistan Witnesses a Rs450 Increase per Tola

Commencing the week on a positive trajectory, domestic bullion showcased a noteworthy uptick, as the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan soared by Rs200 per tola, reaching Rs217,900.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association's report, the 10-gram 24-karat gold price marked a substantial increase, reaching Rs186,814, reflecting a gain of Rs386. Simultaneously, the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs171,246.

In contrast, the silver market in the domestic arena remained steady, with 24-karat silver maintaining its position at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per 10-gram.

Turning our attention to the global stage, the international spot gold market is currently trading at 2,053.74, exhibiting an increase of $4.92 or 0.24% for the day. However, it's noteworthy that when the Karachi Sarafa Association reported local rates, the spot rate in the international market had experienced a marginal uptick of $7.

It's essential to highlight that the preceding week witnessed a consecutive decline in the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan for the second week in a row.
