FlyDubai Expands Network with New Flights to Two Destinations in Pakistan
Islamabad: FlyDubai is set to expand its network by launching daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, starting from July 1, 2024. The new routes will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), connecting travelers to key destinations in Pakistan.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at FlyDubai, expressed the airline's longstanding commitment to the Pakistani market, highlighting sustained demand for travel since FlyDubai's inception in 2010. The addition of daily services to Islamabad and Lahore aims to provide passengers with increased opportunities to explore Dubai and beyond through FlyDubai's extensive network across the GCC region.

FlyDubai initially introduced flights to Pakistan with service to Karachi in 2010 and has since expanded to include Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot. Islamabad, Pakistan's capital city, is renowned for its blend of modernity and natural beauty, boasting museums, picturesque parks, and cultural landmarks.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent at FlyDubai, emphasized that the new daily services to Islamabad and Lahore will enhance travel options for customers from both the UAE and Pakistan. Operated by FlyDubai's fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, these flights are expected to offer passengers an upgraded onboard experience, further cementing FlyDubai's position as a leading carrier in the region.
