EX PM Imran Khan announces peaceful protests after Eid ul Fitr

Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that peaceful protests will be held after Eidul Fitr, according to News on Friday.

Imran Khan told PTI workers and supporters that the party will hold a series of protests following Eidul Fitr. He claimed that the rulers intended to crack down on PTI leaders and workers beginning on April 27.

He further stated that the caretaker administration has not detained a single member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). The government, according to Khan, arrested 3,000 PTI workers.

The PTI chief stated that the party will not remain silent in the face of the crimes. He urged the nation to begin planning for peaceful protests following Eid. He requested that the rulers take steps to preserve the country as a whole.

He underlined that the economic problem will not be resolved until new elections are held. Imran Khan stated that the Supreme Court (SC) protects democracy in the country and that the country must support the top court and the Constitution.
