A proposal to increase the monetization policy of the bureaucracy by Rs. 40,000 to 60,000 has emerged. Specifically, for officers up to grade 20, it is proposed to increase the monetization from Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 1,05,000. For Grade 21 officers, the proposed increase is from Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 1,20,000. Additionally, a proposal is under consideration to increase the monetization for Grade 22 officers from Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 1,55,000.

A 10% increase in the salaries of employees from grades 1 to 22 is expected to have an impact of about 80 billion rupees. There is also a demand for a 200% increase in medical and conveyance allowances for employees of grades 1 to 16. Currently, these employees receive Rs. 1,800 for conveyance and Rs. 1,500 for medical allowances. Officers of grades 17 and 18 are also receiving conveyance allowances.

In 2021 and 2022, employees of scales 1 to 16 received 25% and 15% disparity allowances respectively. It is proposed to continue this disparity allowance to reduce the difference in salaries between provincial and federal employees.
